breakout sessions

Breakout sessions provide you the opportunity to choose the topics that interest you the most. In these sessions you can connect with a smaller group of women by digging into scripture together and obtaining a deeper understanding of relevant issues facing us today. Who knows, you might even make a new friend!

We gather women from our church body to lead these 40-minute sessions. There will be multiple rounds of breakout sessions on Saturday, each with different topics to choose from.

There is no special sign-up for these sessions, they are offered on a first come, first served basis. Classes will be much larger than last year, but seating will still be limited in some of the sessions. Always have a back-up session planned in case your first choice is full when you get to the room. If there are no available seats in a session, please go to a different session.

Below are the topics being offered:

  • Becoming an Unstoppable Force (Teacher: Betty Brown)
  • Being a Woman of Relentless Faith (Teacher: Linda Weaver)
  • Barrier Breakers: Overcoming the Things That Hinder Our Pursuit of God (Leader: Paige Lawson)
  • Returning to the Secret Place (Teacher: Trish Ferrell)
  • Pursue All: Taking Back What Satan Has Stolen (Teacher: Joyce Welch)
  • Gathering at the Table: The Pursuit of Others (Leader: Lori McDonald)

Watch the Heart2Heart Facebook page for Live videos highlighting each of our teachers and sessions!

Will meals be provided?

Absolutely! Snacks will be provided on Friday night.

Breakfast, lunch and snacks will be provided on Saturday.

All are included in the cost of the conference ticket.

Why are there two lunch shifts?

Seating in the dining room is limited causing us to have two lunch shifts.

If you do not receive a confirmation email, please contact the Family Church office at 870-247-3300.

There will be a check-in table in the front foyer of the church on Friday night and Saturday morning. You will only need to check in once, during which you will be given a conference armband to wear throughout the event. The color of your armband will coincide with your assigned lunch shift. Armbands are waterproof and durable, please do not remove your armband until the conference is over on Saturday afternoon.

If I can only attend part of the conference, do I have to pay full price?

Yes. We do not offer partial registration.

Is there reserved seating?

All seating is general admission, so come a little early and choose your seat. Please note that the doors will not open until 6:00 p.m. on Friday and 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.

If you arrive early, you are welcome to hang out on the church porch.

Can men attend the conference?

We love men, but this event is geared just to women. The only men allowed to attend will be

Family Church staff working at the conference.

What should I wear?

Dress comfortably. You may want to dress in layers in case temperatures

are a bit different than you’re accustomed to.

Will there be recordings of the conference?

We want the experience to be unique to all who attend and

encourage women to attend live to share in the gathering.

However, one or more of the main sessions will be recorded and shared on our media page.
